We are looking for a buyer, ideally with experience in the aerospace industry, for a company based in Runcorn.
This role is a full-time position and is based on-site.
You will be managing the full sourcing cycle of goods & services including the raising and management of all direct purchase documents within the ERP or other procurement systems where designated. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to project milestone requirements.
As a Buyer you will be responsible for execution of the supplier sourcing process, in line with category strategy where possible, for assigned categories/suppliers.
About the role
- Responsible for leading and co-ordinating supplier relationships and strategy(s) within the designated external supply chain.
- Lead specific supplier relationships fulfilling the accountabilities of the project/stakeholder. This will include full sourcing and on-boarding of any potential new suppliers.
- Cost Management, quality and delivery responsibilities.
