Are you a fluent Welsh speaker looking to work from home?

We're looking for a Welsh speaking Administrator for a predominantly remote /home working role.  You will need to attend the office, which is based in Stafford, for a few days training then once or twice a month after that.

You will be joining a flexible and growing company based in Stafford.  In this role you will support the  Processing Team Leader in all admin duties. Their role is to successfully complete and ensure a smooth process, from start to finish, on all jobs assigned to them. As part of this they quality check, data match and process all documentation received by surveyors and customers.  This is to guarantee  jobs qualify under the relevant government funding scheme. They work with the team to verify surveys are being carried out in order to successfully move the job forward and liaise with the relevant parties to retrieve any additional or absent information. When a job is successfully completed it is to be uploaded on to the server and the relevant documents passed on to the compliance and submission departments.

MUST BE FLUENT IN WELSH 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Managing all jobs assigned.
  • Complete all assigned jobs to deadlines set.
  • Uploading survey information from Dropbox to internal systems.
  • Checking, organising, and processing paperwork onto the submissions and compliance teams.
  • Creating and maintain all folders on dropbox and ensuring all information is kept up to date.
  • Quality checking documentation received from surveyors and customers.
  • Updating trackers and systems.
  • Contacting customers for paperwork/additional information when necessary.
  • Liaising with Retrofit Team to ensure surveys are being processed.
  • Building and maintain relationships with lead generators, surveyors and customers.
  • Any other administrative tasks set by the Processing Team Leader.

We are looking for an Automation/Controls Engineer with an electrical bias for an expanding organistion based near Newcastle Upon Tyne.

They specialise in the design, implementation, optimisation, and automation of solutions to increase the efficiency of production lines. They support all Siemens family applications and Omron, beginning to get jobs with Allen Bradley but not currently.

They are looking for someone either proficient in robotics or PLC.

  • Designing PLC and HMI applications from scratch/making modifications to current applications.
  • Electrical installation from panel building to machine field wiring
  • Act as a trouble-shooter for automation equipment including 6-axis robots (Fanuc/ABB), programmable logic controllers, human-machine interfaces, presses, conveying equipment, and pneumatic and hydraulic actuators
  • Supporting new machine builds, installations and modifications
  • Designing and developing software solutions in support of automation and robotics automation software

You will need to be proficient in either PLC programming or robotics. Training can be provided for one or the other.

  • Siemens S7
  • PLC Programming
  • Industrial Robotics- 6-axis robots (Fanuc/ABB) desirable
  • Electrical – control panels, fault finding and wiring.
  • Understand and ideally draw electrical drawings (e-plan experience desirable)
  • Designing, developing, testing and deploying software engineering solutions
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role and environment

They provide training in the following areas:

  • Siemens PLC (Step 7 and TIA Portal)
  • Siemens HMI (WinCC and TIA Portal)
  • Siemens Servo Systems (Sinamics)
  • Installation, commissioning and modification for robots (Yaskawa, Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Staubli and ToshibaAutomation

We are looking for a Control Systems Project Engineer to deliver a range of projects. This role offers the opportunity for regular, world-wide travel.

The right candidate will be someone who is happy being customer facing at times and can design, write and modify PLC and HMI code on various systems (predominantly Allen Bradley). The role involves worldwide travel on average 6 times per year.

The work includes design, testing and modification of process control systems, including writing functional design specifications, writing PLC and HMI controls software, preparing documentation, and performing on-site training, start-up support and commissioning.

  • Writing, testing and fault finding within controls software.
  • Preparing quality documentation (flow sheets, functional design specifications, electrical wiring diagrams, etc.)
  • This will be customer facing as you will be travelling to the client base and corresponding with them - no sales.

Qualifications Experience

  • Degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or automation/controls
  • A minimum of 3-years’ experience within a control systems engineering environment.
  • Proficient in designing, writing and modifying PLC and HMI code on various systems (such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon and similar).
  • Competent in AutoCAD, DraftSight or similar design software.
  • Full driving licence

  • Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.
  • Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.

  • Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.

This is full time and permanent – Monday to Friday 8:30pm – 5pm. Salary is around £30,000 - £35,000.
