Aftermarket Programmes Manager


We're looking for an Aftermarket Programmes / Project Manager for our client in Runcorn. The job will be working for a global company specialising in the manufacture, repair and overhaul of actuation systems and components for the aerospace market.

You will be responsible for managing their contracts with two of the major worldwide aerospace primes.

  • In this role you will be the main point of contact for relevant customers
  • You will take ownership of the programme internally and will ensure customer deliveries are provided on time and to the required quality as well ensuring the programme's ongoing profitability
  • You will be a member of a high-performance team. We're looking for individuals who are skilled communicators. The ability to use informal leadership to influence within the organisation will be key to success in this role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain familarity with contractual relationships and current buisness relationships with designated customers
  • Handle aftermarket and sales
  • Identify new business opportunities and associated proposal preparation
  • Measure and monitor the overall perfromance of the programme and manage the KPIs
  • Communication of improvement opportunities and inefficiencies to senior management


  • A degree in Business, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably in the aerospace industry
  • Literacy in contractual, financial and project management issues
  • Knowledge of MRP systems and Microsoft Office
