We are currently recruiting for a high technology manufacturing business  who are looking for the right person for an exciting multi-skilled role.

The purpose of the role is to contribute in all areas of the Operations Department including handling deliveries, warehousing, production and despatch of product for customer orders.

The role holder will be able to complete multiple tasks to achieve the safe, efficient and best cost manufacture of all products to the required quality, specification and quantity. Trained in all areas the role holder will be flexible across all areas of operations so business demands can be achieved by this multiskilled role.

Main responsibilities and duties

1.Taking receipt of all goods entering the warehouse and recording in the Nav system.

2.Undertake all production, warehousing and distribution activities.

3.Operating machinery in both Primary and Secondary Environments.

4.Support Lab testing requirements.

5.Follow set Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’S) and creating and updating when appropriate.

6.Continually working to high quality and time standards.

7.Ensure all paperwork is completed and data recorded accurately in all systems.

8.Working to Operations targets as set by Operations Manager.

9.Assist with training of new team members in product quality requirements.

10.Maintaining & delivering a 5S standard work environment.

11.Achieve weekly output targets to ensure customer service levels are not compromised.

12.Report and provide details of any mechanical problems affecting the day's performance and take action to rectify issues where possible.

13.Work collaboratively with the team to adhere to and improve Health & Safety procedures.

14.Working to continually propose and implement process improvements.

3.Pro-active and flexible mentality with the ability to be autonomous where required.

5.Motivated and engaged.

6.Knowledge of General Safety Procedures.

7.Attention to detail.

Required experience

1.Experience of Distribution/manufacturing or Laboratory operating environments.

2.Fork-lift (Counterbalance) licence (preferable).

3.Computer literate.
